The Milwaukee Brewers garnered the hard-earned win against the Colorado Rockies on Sunday afternoon with a 10-9 victory.
The Brewers cashed in first in the opening frame with Willy Adames and Luis Urias driving in runs to make it 3-0. Single tallies the next two innings for the Rockies would make 3-2, but then Hunter Renfroe hit is third homer in three days to extend the lead. The Rockies would score the next four runs to take a one run lead thanks in part to a Kris Bryant homer in the fifth inning and two run-scoring knocks in the sixth inning.
Tyrone Taylor momentarily tied the game at six apiece with a solo shot, but then Rockies plated two to take an 8-6 lead. The Brewers would score one in the seventh and eighth, including the decisive two-run double by Andrew McCutchen to make it 10-8 heading into the ninth. Josh Hader would give up a run, but he induced Bryant into a check-swing groundout to preserve the save.
The Brewers go for the four-game sweep Monday evening.
