The Green Bay Rockers continued their strong start in the second half of the season with a 6-5 win over the Lakeshore Chinooks on Wednesday.

The Rockers were down 3-0 in the fifth inning when they put up five runs against the Chinooks. Aided by a bases-loaded walk and an error, the big blow of the frame was a bases-clearing double by Rockers All-Star Tristin Garcia. A run-scoring single in the top of the eighth by Carson Yates scored an important insurance run as the Chinooks would score twice in the ninth, but not enough to take the game away from the Rockers.

The Rockers are at home Thursday night to face the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders.
