Fiserv Forum to host NHL exhibition

NHL hockey is returning to the Cream City in October after an over 30-year absence.

The Chicago Blackhawks announced it would host the Minnesota Wild for an exhibition game on October 2nd. It will be a part of their first "Home Away from Home" game. Tickets go on sale on Friday.

Even though Milwaukee and the state of Wisconsin have longed for their own NHL franchise for decades, they certainly got used to hosting NHL games. The Bradley Center hosted an exhibition game and a regular season every year for five years, including the Blackhawks in 1992. Milwaukee last hosted an NHL game in 1993.
