Packers stay healthy after Family Night scrimmage

A minor hamstring tweak for Darnell Savage is all the damage was done to the Green Bay Packers' roster Friday night as the team welcomed over 50,000 fans to Lambeau Field for its annual Family Night.

The practice went about two hours before giving way to the team's post-game promotions and fireworks show featuring LED lights. It went very much like many of the team's previous practices went with the defense's stars shining brighter than the offense's. While Romeo Doubs has drawn most of the praise during the practice sessions at the Packers' training camp facilities, it was Samori Toumre who had the best night of the young wide receiver corps. He made impressive touchdown grabs from all three quarterbacks, including a 60-yarder from Jordan Love and an over-the-shoulder catch from Aaron Rodgers.

Door County Mayor A.J. Dillon also scored a touchdown in the red zone, an area he admitted postgame that the team had been struggling in camp.

The Packers will have their first off day this week on Saturday before hitting the practice field on Sunday. They play their first pre-season game in San Francisco next weekend.
