Brewers can't get offense going against Dodgers

The Milwaukee Brewers could only manage four hits in its 4-0 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in their series opener Monday night at American Family Field.

Freddie Freeman homered in the first inning, giving the Dodgers the only run they would need. Will Smith hit a sacrifice fly in the fifth and Gavin Lux launched a two-run bomb in the sixth to cap off the scoring for the Dodgers.

Freddy Peralta took the loss for the Brewers while Luis Urias sparkled for the Dodgers, going five innings of shutout ball with six strikeouts. The bullpen didn't allow a hit, including a rare four-strikeout inning by the newly acquired Chris Martin.

The two teams face each other at the same time again Tuesday.
