Brewers top Dodgers in extra innings

A two-run single by Victor Caratini in the 11th inning propelled the Milwaukee Brewers to a 5-4 walk-off victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday night at American Family Field.

Christian Yelich crushed a 451-foot home run in the fifth inning to snap a 0-26 slump and gave the Brewers a 3-2 at the time. Willy Adames also went yard in the first inning to start the scoring.

Brandon Woodruff started for the Brewers and allowed two runs on five hits while striking out eight in five innings.  Brent Suter (4-3)  picked up the win for Milwaukee.

The Dodgers and Brewers will play the final game of the series Wednesday night with first pitch set for 7:05 pm.
