Brewers salvage game at Wrigley

The Milwaukee Brewers took advantage of an exasperated Chicago Cubs bullpen in a 5-2 victory Sunday afternoon at Wrigley Field.

The Cubs took an early 2-0 lead with Ian Happ homering in the first inning and Seiya Suzuki going yard in the fourth inning. Brandon Woodruff showed his ace stuff the rest of the game, going just shy of six innings pitched with five strikeouts. The Brewers began chipping away from there with Rowdy Tellez and Keston Hiura homering the tie the game. A sacrifice fly in the eighth inning by Willy Adames essentially won the game for the Brewers while Hiura's two-run homer salted the game away in the ninth.

The Brewers now head to Los Angeles to take on the National League leading Los Angeles Dodgers for a three-game set beginning at 9:10 p.m.
