Brewers fall to Pirates

The Milwaukee Brewers could not hold on to a 2-1 lead and fell to the Pittsburg Pirates 4-2 at American Family Field Tuesday night.

Kolton Wong game the Brewers a 2-1 lead with a two-run home run in the fourth inning, but Pittsburg scored single runs in the seventh, eighth, and ninth inning to come away with the win.

Jason Alexander had a strong start for the Brewers allowing just one run and three hits in five innings, but three relievers were unable to hold the lead for Milwaukee (68-60).  Brad Boxberger (3-3) took the loss.

Both teams will play the rubber game of the series Wednesday with first pitch set for 1:10pm in Milwaukee.
