Volleyball Preview: Conference play opens Thursday

After weeks of practices and tournaments, the volleyball teams around the area are finally ready to get some conference games underway.

A matchup of two conference contenders will be held in the gym of Sturgeon Bay this evening as the Clippers of Sturgeon Bay will welcome in fierce competitor Sevastopol.

Algoma plays their first home game of the season, as they play host to conference foe Peshtigo.

Gibraltar hosts reigning Packerland conference champions Oconto.

Kewaunee stays home to match up against NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy.

Reigning State Champions Luxemburg Casco opens up NEC conference play on the road against Denmark.
