Local runners destroy prior personal, season records

From Cherry Hills Golf Course in Sturgeon Bay to Reedsville High School, local runners broke personal records left and right at their respective meets.

 

In Reedsville, the Kewaunee boys took 6th with 163 points and the Southern Door boys took seventh with 170 points at the Panther Invitational. It was the same thing on the girls side, but with Kewaunee scoring 171 points and Southern Door registering 214. Southern Door's Ben Grota and Kewaunee's Hannah Miller led the way for their respective teams.

 

In Pulaski, the Luxemburg-Casco girls took 9th with 226 points and the boys took seventh with 194 points at the Red Raider Invitational. Notre Dame won both divisions. Spencer Thiry was the top performer for the squads, coming in 9th place with a time of 16:43 at the Pulaski Polka Grounds.

 

Sevastopol's Bea Dramm ran a 21:46 and Gibraltar's Logan Mitterman ran a 18:17 at he 5K course to lead their respective squads at the Pioneer Invite hosted at Cherry Hills Golf Course. Sturgeon Bay also competed at the meet won by the Freedom girls and Two Rivers boys squads.
