The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans picked up a convincing win at home Tuesday night, taking all three sets against the Waupaca Comets. The Spartans won easily in the first two sets, winning 25-17 and 25-16. The third set was closer, with L-C narrowly winning 25-21. The Spartans were led by Alayna Deprez with 22 kills and 7 digs, Kylie Hanson had nine kills and 11 digs, and Autumn Flynn contributed seven kills and two blocks in the victory. Brooke VandeHei added 13 digs and four aces for Luxemburg-Casco (22-8, 7-0), who remains undefeated in the North Eastern Conference. L-C Coach Jeff Frey said after the game, "it was a nice win, Waupaca is a much-improved team, and they were on a roll coming in. I was happy with a lot of things we did tonight, we just need to continue to focus on the little things"
In other action Tuesday, Sevastopol swept Kewaunee 3-0 at Institute.
