Door County United Girls Swim stays undefeated with Marinette win

Door County United Girls High School Swim team remains undefeated following their 134-31 win against Marinette High School on Tuesday. Marinette did not have any junior varsity swimmers, however, the junior varsity team had a lot of success with great finishes. Kayleigh Erickson (SDHS) completed the junior varsity 200-yard individual medley for the first time in the competition. Ophelia Linnan (SEV)  finished first in the junior varsity 200-yard individual medley, finishing just under 3 minutes. As for varsity swimmers, Christy Braun (SBHS) had yet another great night. She finished first in both of her individual events and assisted in two first-place finishes for the relays she was a part of. Caitlyn Hasenjager (SEV) finished first in a good race against her own teammate in the 200-yard freestyle. Caitlyn finished 0.24 seconds faster than Kailyn Neville (SDHS), who finished second. Freshman swimmer Regan Kasten (SBHS) continues to be very successful, and an integral part of the team, with her first-place finishes in her individual events of the evening as well. The team will take on Seymour High School Thursday, at the Sturgeon Bay YMCA at 6:00 pm for their last season home meet. We hope to see you there to congratulate the seniors on their highly successful season.
