Clippers fall to conference champion Eagles on 103.3 The Clipper

The Sturgeon Bay Clippers ended their regular season in blowout fashion, losing to the Packerland Conference champion Southern Door Eagles 41-0.

The Clippers were unable to get anything going all game, as Zack Lynch scored four touchdowns in a row, to make it a 28-0 game early. Touchdown runs of 2, 3, 4, and 5 yards for Lynch tallied him for four on the night.

Derek Schinktgen played a huge role in all of those touchdowns, as he finished with 107 yards total rushing, as he reached that number with 9 minutes to play in the second quarter. The offense as a whole was functioning well throughout the whole night.

Chirstian Counard ended the game with 2 interceptions on the night, building off of his interception last week against Kewaunee.

The two teams ended up with similar passing numbers, as Caleb Plzak unofficially finished with 102 passing yards, and Drew Daoust finished with 101 yards.

Southern Door clinched the Packerland conference, and will be looking to see tomorrow to see if they are in line for a one seed. Sturgeon Bay will look to see where they are traveling for week one.
