Packerland volleyball, other sports finish regular season

The Packerland Conference volleyball tournament this weekend shuffled some teams in the final conference standings. 

 

The NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy Blazers were able to win the conference tournament, and secure enough points to finish in first place in the conference. The Blazers beat the Southern Door Eagles in a best of three set series in the championship match to clinch the title. Southern Door would finish in third behind the Sevastopol Pioneers, who they beat to get to the title match. 

 

Other area teams results in the conference tournament saw Algoma finish in fourth place, Sturgeon Bay finish in sixth place, Gibraltar finish 7th, and Kewaunee round out the field in 9th.

Peshtigo - 15

Sturgeon Bay - 12

Oconto  - 6

Gibraltar - 3

Kewaunee - 0

 

The football season finished with Southern Door as champions, the Soccer season had Sturgeon Bay come away as champions, and boys and girls cross country was won by Peshtigo. In Peninsula conference 8-Player football, Gibraltar was able to bring home the conference title.
