Gamblers spooked by Steel

The Green Bay Gamblers held the Chicago Steel scoreless the final two periods of their game on Saturday, but the damage was done early as they lost 7-1.

Gamblers goaltender Kristoffer Eberly exited the game after just over 12 minutes because he allowed four goals on just ten shots. Peyton Grainer played the final 47 minutes, making 14 saves on 17 shots.

Mack Celebrini had a hat trick in the first period for the Steel, while Nicholas Moldenhauer, Jack Harvey, and Cameron Johnson all had multi-point games. Ten Steel players registered at least one point.

The Gamblers' lone bright spot came in the second period when Eli Sebastian scored his fifth goal of the season with just over two minutes remaining in the period.

The Gamblers will return the favor to the Steel when they travel to Geneva, Ill. for their next game on Friday.
