With only two football teams and one swimming squad remaining in the mix for a state title, the rest of the student-athletes in Door and Kewaunee counties have to wait at least a week before they can officially start their seasons.
Girls' basketball, along with gymnastics and hockey and lace up for the first time on Monday, with their first games scheduled for November 15th.
November 14th will be the first day wrestlers, boys' basketball players and boys' swimmers can begin the practice. Swimmers and boys' basketball players will be able to compete for the first time on November 22nd, while wrestlers will have to wait until after Thanksgiving before they can step out onto the mat for competition.
