Badgers run past soggy Terrapins

Driving rains could not slow down the Wisconsin Badgers' rushing attack in a 23-10 victory over Maryland.

The Badgers built up a 17-0 lead before halftime to make the second half academic for the Terrapins, who struggled to move the ball against the accompanying high winds.

The Badgers did what they do best and ran the ball to the tune of 278 yards on 46 carries and two touchdowns. Braelon Allen led the way with 119 yards and a score. Graham Mertz did not need to do much as he threw for just 77 yards on five completions.

The Badgers will travel to Iowa next week to take on the Hawkeyes.
