Bucks' winning streak hits brakes against Hawks

The Milwaukee Bucks could not keep their perfect streak going on Monday, falling to the Atlanta Hawks on the road 117-98.

The Bucks jumped all over the Hawks in the first quarter, taking a 21-8 lead early on and knocking down eight three-pointers in the opening frame. The Hawks would whittle down the lead in the first half before outscoring their visitors by 15 in the third quarter and 10 in the fourth quarter.

Giannis Antetokounmpo did return to the line-up to score 25 points to lead the Bucks. Jrue Holiday scored 16 points, while Grayson Allen, Bobby Portis, and Brook Lopez each added 11 points. Without Trae Young in the lineup, the Hawks made do with Dejounte Murray and AJ Griffin combining to score 29 points and collect 12 rebounds in their victory.

The Bucks' road trip continues on Wednesday when they face the Oklahoma Thunder.
