The Milwaukee Bucks were the first team to get to 10 wins on the season with their dramatic 132-126 double overtime win on Wednesday night over the Oklahoma City Thunder. They will look to add another win to their record Friday night as they travel to San Antonio to take on the Spurs.
Milwaukee may be without Jrue Holiday once again, as his and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s status is up in the air for the game. The Bucks were successful without those two players against the Thunder, as they counted on Jevon Carter and Rookie Marjon Beauchamp to lead them to the finish line. Carter put in a career high in points, as he dropped 36 points. Beauchamp also had a career high in his second start of his career, scoring 19 on 5-8 shooting from the three point line. The unsung hero of the season so far has been Brook Lopez, as he scored 24 points in 45 minutes, the most he has played since the 2010-2011 season in the regular season.
The Spurs are 5-7 on the season, and sit in the 9th spot in the Western Conference Standings. San Antonio is led by Keldon Johnson, the third year player out of the University of Kentucky. Johnson is averaging 23.1 points per game on 45.5% shooting, and an excellent three point shooting percentage of 41.2%.
The game will begin at 7:00 in San Antonio.
