Two local players have been honored by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association with All-State honors.
Southern Door's Taylor Schaefer earned All-State Small School honors for his work at the linebacker position. Schaefer led the team with 151 tackles, registering 12 sacks and 44 tackles for a loss. He also forced four fumbles and had two recoveries.
Sevastopol's Logan Retzlaff was an honorable mention selection for the Eight-Player All-State team. In his 25 punts, Retzlaff had a 37.5-yard average, pinning opponents inside the 20-yard line six times.
