Girls Basketball Roundup: Sevastopol wins, Gibraltar, Algoma, Kewaunee fall

The girls high school basketball season tipped-off in the area on Tuesday night.

In non-conference action the Sevastopol Pioneers traveled to Suring and came up with a convincing 53-30 win.

The Gibraltar Vikings could not keep up with the Two Rivers Purple Raiders as the Vikings took a 54-34 road loss.

The Algoma Wolves hung close to the Ashwaubenon Jaguars before falling 40-30 on the road.  Riley Zimmerman led the Wolves with 11 points.

The Kewaunee Storm struggled keeping five healthy girls on the court and fell to the Wrightstown Tigers at home 49-26.
