The Milwaukee Bucks needed their role players to help them prevail against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night 113-98.
Giannis Antetokounmpo had a rare off night as he scored 16 points, shooting 6-18 from the field and 4-11 from the line. Brook Lopez filled in the gap with 29 points and 12 rebounds. He was one of three players (Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis) to register a double-double. The bench, led by Jordan Nwora (21 points), combined for 45 points in the victory.
The Cavaliers had a slim three-point at the end of the first quarter and went into halftime by just one point, but the Bucks outscored the Cavaliers 34-18 in a decisive third quarter that ultimately put the game out of reach.
The Bucks improved to 11-3 on the season and will play the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
