Gamblers head to state capitol this weekend

The Green Bay Gamblers are back in action on Friday and Saturday when they travel to Middleton, Wis. to play the Madison Capitols.

The Gamblers split their weekend set last week in Muskegon to hit the halfway point of November with a 7-6-1 record. Artyom Levshunov continued his hot November with his seventh goal of the season in the first period and Michael DeAngelo added his own tally in the second period of a 3-2 loss on Friday. DeAngelo would play well in the Saturday game, registering a pair of assists in a 3-0 Gamblers victory.

The Capitols lost their lone game last Friday to the Chicago Steel 6-5. They are led by Miko Matikka, who has registered 18 points on seven goals and 11 assists as the Capitols hold a 5-6-0-1 record, four points behind the Gamblers in the standings.

Both games start at 7:05 p.m.
