The Sturgeon Bay Clippers will take part in the Packerland/M&O Challenge this weekend, as they will take on Crivitz.
Sturgeon Bay fell short in their opener to the Chilton Tigers by a score of 61-49. The Clippers allowed the Tigers to shoot 41.7% from the three point line, which was enough for Chilton to take home the win. Sturgeon Bay was led by Isaak Aune, who was able to lead the team throughout the loss, alongside of guard Garrett Ulberg.
The Crivitz Wolves will open their season up against the Sturgeon Bay Clippers, but are coming off of a very successful season last year. The Wolves were 18-7 overall last year, while being 15-1 in M&O conference play. Crivitz is bringing back 6’3” wing Sean Christiansen, who averaged 16.4 points per game last season. The Wolves will be a tough test for the Clippers Friday evening.
The Wolves and Clippers are set to tip at 5:00 P.M. in Crivitz.
