The Wisconsin Badgers came up short against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge 78-75 Tuesday night in Madison.

Chucky Hepburn led the Badgers with 23 points, but missed a three-pointer at the end of the game that would have tied it.  Tyler Wahl added 17 for the Badgers who lost for only the second time this year.

Wake Forest was led by Tyree Appleby who scored 20 of his game-high 32 points in the second half. 

Wisconsin will now take on in-state rival Marquette on Saturday with tip-off set for 3:30 pm.
