Badger Basketball look to roll against the Hawkeyes

Another Big Ten matchup will be in store for the Wisconsin Badgers Sunday as they will travel to Iowa City to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Wisconsin is fresh off of their first Big Ten win this season, upsetting the previously ranked 13th team in the nation Maryland, 64-59. The Badgers offense has come to the forefront in the past few games, with their shooting being an ability to put teams away late. Connor Essegian and Chucky Hepburn continue to be spectacular in their respective roles for the team. Both players are averaging over 10 points per game, with Hepburn scoring 12.6 and Essegian adding 10 per game on spectacular shooting.

Iowa has been strong once again this season, posting a 7-2 record overall this season. The Hawkeyes will be playing their first Big Ten game of the season against the Badgers, before going right back into non-conference play. Kris Murray has been strong so far for Iowa, averaging 19.4 points per game. Murray’s availability for Sunday’s game is questionable however, as he sat out with an injury in Thursday’s win over Iowa State.

Tip from Iowa is scheduled for 5:30 P.M.
