Gibraltar Football Head Coach Mike Peck was selected to be the head coach of the WFCA 8-Player All Star Game, assisted by another Gibraltar coach, Tom Sawyer.
Peck and Sawyer will coach the South 8-Player team, who will take on the North team. Peck led Gibraltar to a Peninsula conference, undefeated regular season, and a first overall seed in the WIAA 8 Player Postseason this season. The Vikings dominated the All-Peninsula Conference list, having 13 nominations within 1st, 2nd, and Honorable Mention lists. Gibraltar would finish their season with a loss to Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas 30-21.
The 8-Player game of the WFCA All-Star Game will be played on Friday, July 14th at 6:00 P.M. at Titans Stadium at UW-Oshkosh. Player nominations for all of the games will begin in January, with selections being announced in February.
