Celtics bash Bucks in second half

The Boston Celtics outscored the Milwaukee Bucks by 20 in the second half en route to a 139-118 win on Christmas Day.

The Bucks' defense had no answer for Jayson Tatum, who registered 41 points in the contest. His teammate Jaylen Brown added 29 to the total, two points more than Giannis Antetokounmpo's 27 points for the Bucks. Jrue Holiday chipped in 23 points, while three others reached double figures in the loss.

Tatum's 20-point third quarter was the deciding frame in this Christmas Day matchup, a rematch of last year's holiday matinee. The Bucks also allowed the Celtics to hit 19 shots from behind the arc.

The Bucks will try to end their losing streak on Wednesday when they face the struggling Chicago Bulls.
