After the weather canceled several games last week, the state's Division 1 college basketball teams will finally get back to work on Tuesday, thanks to Marquette.
The Golden Eagles welcome Seton Hall to Fiserv Forum for a 7 p.m. tip. Led by Kam Jones' 16.4 points per game, the Golden Eagles have jumped out to 9-4 overall mark and an even 1-1 record in the Big East. They have won six of their last seven games, including their 103-98 double overtime loss to Providence that knocked the Golden Eagles out of the AP Top 25.
The Pirates are 4-6 in their last ten games, including close losses to Providence and Xavier in their last two times out on the court. They are led by Al-Amir Dawes and his nearly 11 points per game.
You will have to wait a few more days for the other in-state Division 1 programs. Green Bay and Milwaukee's squads play Horizon League games on Thursday and Wisconsin plays on Friday.
