Bucks travel up north to take on Raptors after win over Wizards

The Milwaukee Bucks will take on the Toronto Raptors in Canada in the second night of Milwaukee’s back to back.

The Bucks were able to defeat the Washington Wizards 123-113 behind 55 points by Giannis Antetokounmpo on Tuesday.  Antetokounmpo hit 20/33 shots from the field and 15/16 free throws to dominate in the paint while adding ten rebounds and seven assists.  Brook Lopez added 21 points and 12 boards as the Bucks improved their record to 24-13, third best in the Eastern Conference.

After taking on the Washington Wizards in the past two games, the Bucks will take on another conference opponent in the Raptors. Bobby Portis has been a strong contributor to the Bucks off of the bench, averaging 14 points and 10 rebounds per game, and has been an early nominee for a potential sixth man of the year award. After three games at home, Milwaukee will finally hit the road in Ontario.

Toronto has gotten off to a slow start this season, as they currently sit outside of the early playoff picture at 16-21. Pascal Siakam has been having a strong start to his season, averaging 26.5 points per game, and the Raptors have 6 players averaging over double digits with four of those players being over 15 points. Toronto was the fifth seed last season and fell to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Tip from Scotiabank Arena is set for 6:30 P.M.
