Two local wrestlers ended their Saturday on top of the medal stand at their respective tournaments.

Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol's Zak Wrobel came home the big winner from Saturday's Manawa Invitational. Wrobel won three of his four matches by pin before his day ended when his final opponent had to withdraw due to injury. Spencer Madsen, Ethan Denamur, and Ben Roman took second place as the team took fourth overall.

The Southern Door wrestling team placed all six of its wrestlers at the 15-team Rocket Scramble at Cedar Grove-Belgium High School on Saturday. Hayden Jeanquart took first place at 170 pounds, pinning all four of his opponents. Four other wrestlers finished the day with just a single loss.
