Bucks rally in New York Garden party

The Milwaukee Bucks found themselves down by 17 points late but figured out how to get past the New York Knicks 111-107 Monday night.

The Bucks and the Knicks ended each quarter relatively even, with the home Knicks heading into their locker room at the Madison Square Garden up by five at the break. The Knicks built their 17-point lead early in the third quarter, but the Bucks ended the frame on a 13-2 closing run. They carried that momentum into the fourth quarter, used a 9-3 outburst to erase the deficit, and took an 82-81 lead with over 10 minutes to go. The Bucks outscored the Knicks by nine in the fourth quarter.

Seven players scored in double figures for the Bucks, led by a double-double by Giannis Antetokounmpo (22 points, 10 rebounds) and 17 points apiece from Joe Ingles and Brook Lopez. Jrue Holiday added 15 points in the win. That was enough to weather Jalen Brunson, who scored 44 points for the Knicks while two others cracked 20 points.

The Bucks are back in action on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in Atlanta to face the Hawks.
