The Wisconsin Badgers let a five-point lead slip away in the final minutes of their 69-65 loss to the Michigan State Spartans in Madison.
The game was a back-and-forth affair all night long as the Spartans (12-4, 4-1 B1G) prevailed at the Kohl Center.
Former Marquette University player Joey Hauser led the Spartans with 20 points, while Steven Crowl paced the Badgers (12-5, 3-2 B1G) with 19 points and Chucky Hepburn added 14 more.
Wisconsin will now travel to Indiana to take on the Hoosiers on Saturday with a noon tip-off.
