The area's three Packerland Conference wrestling teams posted strong performances at their respective tournaments over the weekend.

For Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol, Spencer Madsen was the top finisher for the team as he hit the podium in third place at 126 pounds at the Cutler Classic.

Southern Door's Hayden Jeanquart won the 160-pound weight class at the Cutler Classic, while Jonas Jandrin (182 lbs) took second place, and two others took third.

At the same tournament, Kewaunee's Mitchell Thompson won his bracket at 195 pounds, and Ezra Ducat took second at 220 pounds.

As a team, Southern Door took third, Kewaunee seventh, and Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol 11th out of the 18 teams at the Cutler Classic, which Coleman won with 202 points.
