If you cheer for a Division 1 men's basketball team hailing from Wisconsin, you spent a portion of it averting your eyes from the court as all four of the state's teams took losses over the course of 48 hours.
On Saturday, the Wisconsin Badgers showed why they have been missing Tyler Wahl with a 63-45 loss to Indiana. The Hoosiers' second half was almost more than what the Badgers scored the entire game, exploding for a 42-25 advantage after the break. Connor Essegian led the way for the Badgers with 14 points.
The Green Bay Phoenix was not much better, losing 74-53 to Northern Kentucky on Saturday. The Phoenix failed to score 30 points in either half while allowing the Norse's Marques Warrick to register 21 points and two others to score at least 13. Randy Tucker scored a team-high 14 points while three others cracked double-figures.
