It is better late than never for the Wisconsin Badgers when they play the Northwestern Wildcats Monday evening.
The game was originally supposed to be played on Saturday, but the Wildcats were forced to postpone two games, including their contest against the Badgers, due to COVID-19 issues within the program. Both teams will have to cram in three games this week with the Badgers playing at Maryland on Wednesday and at home against Illinois Saturday.
The Badgers broke up a three-game losing streak last Tuesday against Penn State with a 63-60 victory. The team is trying to find its way without Tyler Wahl at full-strength. Steven Crowl led the Badgers with 21 points in the victory.
The Wildcats dropped two games before their pair of postponements, but they rattled the Big Ten with upset victories on the road at Indiana and at home against Illinois.
The Badgers and Wildcats will tip-off at 5:30 p.m.
