Gamblers sweep Caps in weekend set

The Green Bay Gamblers swept their in-state rivals Madison Capitols over the weekend in a home-and-home set.

In Friday's 4-3 win in Madison, Artyom Levshunov scored the game-winner six minutes into the third period and goaltender Adam Gajan stopped nearly everything in front of him as he made 36 saves on 39 shots. Jimmy Clark registered two points in the game on a goal and an assist.

In Saturday's dominating 7-4 win, the Gamblers scored three goals in the second and third periods to put distance between them and the Capitols. Matthew DiMarsico registered a hat trick and Jakub Altrichter collected three assists in the victory.
