Phoenix women demolish Jaguars

The Green Bay Phoenix finished off a long weekend sweep on Monday night, beating the IUPUI Jaguars 76-54.

 

The Phoenix used a balanced scoring attack to beat the Jaguars with four players reaching double figures. They were led by Jenna Guyer and her career-high 16 points. Sydney Levy tacked on 14 points, Luxemburg-Casco product Cassie Schiltz chipped in with 12 points, and Tatum Koenig contributed 10 points in the victory. 

 

The Phoenix led 27-10 at the end of the first quarter and were able to coast the rest of the way. The Jaguars' Rachel Kent and Destiny Perkins each scored 13 points, but labored to do it as they went 7-24 combined from the field.

 

The Phoenix women will go on their Detroit swing this weekend beginning on February 3rd at 6 p.m.
