Phoenix men return home to face Oakland

Fresh off their first win in 14 games, the Green Bay Phoenix will return to the Kress Center for a Thursday night match-up against Oakland.

In their last game, last-second shots at the end of regulation and overtime by Davin Zeigler ended a lot of misery for the Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team as they beat the Milwaukee Panthers 80-79. Four Phoenix players hit double-figures on an evening where the Phoenix made a program-record 16 three-pointers. Randy Tucker scored a career-high 20 points while the night's hero Zeigler added 18 points.  Brock Heffner chipped in with 17 and Ryan Wade contributed 10 points in the victory.

The Golden Grizzlies come to town led by one of the most prolific scorers in the Horizon League, Jalen Moore. Moore is fourth in the HL in scoring (18.0) and leads the league in assists per game (5.8).

The two teams will tip-off at 7 p.m. The Phoenix men will also play host to Detroit-Mercy on Saturday.
