Congratulations on a great meet today! I’ve said it several times this season, but I am immensely proud of this group of gentlemen and their hard work. We’ve had so many incredible successes this season, and it’s been rewarding to watch the boys grow both as swimmers and as people. In our first year swimming at D-1 we proved that we could compete against some really talented competition and found our way to a 7th place finish today and numerous podium swims.

Notable swims and finishes:
-4th place varsity finish (Race Kasten, Jack Monfils, Colton Blackley, Logan Filar) in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:44.03 (a season best in the 200 medley relay)
-Tied for 5th place (Kasten, Monfils, Ezra Linnan, Filar) in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:34.00 (a season best in the 200 free relay)
-11th place finish in the 400 free relay (Linnan, George Atwell, Branden Neubauer, Blackley) with a time of 3:47.58
-Atwell took 18th in the 200 free with a time of 2:06.13 (a season best) and Neubauer took 19th with a time of 2:07.95 (a season best)
-Monfils placed 6th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.87
-Kasten took 5th in the 50 free with a time of 23.19 (a season best), Filar took 7th with a time of 23.59 (a season best), Blackley took 18th with a time of 24.78 (a season best), and Eric Jimenez-Polster took 34th with a time of 29.61
-Linnan took 17th in the 100 fly with a time of 1:07.25
-Filar took 5th in the 100 free with a time of 51.52 (a season best), Blackley took 10th with a time of 54.28 (a season best), Tre Wienke took 21st with a time of 1:01.52 (a season best), and Jimenez-Polster took 23rd with a time of 1:05.06
-Atwell took 15th in the 500 free with a time of 5:53.79 (a season best)
-Kasten took 6th in the 100 back with a time of 57.10 (a season best) and Linnan took 16th with a time of 1:07.22
-Monfils placed 6th in the 100 breast with a time of 1:03.80, Neubauer took 10th with a 1:11.34, and Wienke took 18th with a time of 1:15.57
