The Green Bay Gamblers split their matchups against the Youngstown Phantoms ahead of their Valentine's Day matchup at Dubuque.
In Friday's matchup, a three-goal second period doomed the Gamblers in a 4-3 loss. Eli Sebastian registered three points with a goal and two assists while Nicholas Vantassell and Matthew DiMarsico tallied the other goals.
Sixty minutes was not enough for the Gamblers and Phantoms as the Resch Center crowd got to see the home team come back from two goals down to score the game-winner seconds into overtime. Carter Rose got the scoring going while Matthew DiMarsico scored the short-handed tally with just under two minutes remaining in the third period. Michael DeAngelo drilled the game-winner.
