Bucks win 11th straight with OT win over Boston

It  took an  overtime session, but the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the short-handed Boston Celtics 131-125 at Fiserv Forum.  

 

The battle of the two best teams in the Eastern Conference saw Boston hanging in the game despite missing two of their top players in Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown due to injuries.  

 

Wisconsin native Sam Hauser hit a three-pointer with three seconds left in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime, but the Bucks rallied from a 123-118 deficit to come away with their 11th consecutive win.

 

Jrue Holiday led the Bucks with 40 points while Giannis Antetokounmpo added 36 more and 13 rebounds. sealing the game with two free throws with three seconds left in overtime. 

 

Boston was led by Derrick White who had 27 points and former Buck Malcolm Brogdon poured in 26.

 

Milwaukee 40-17 now trail Boston by 1/2 game for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
