Wisconsin hangs on for victory over Michigan

Despite going nearly 11 minutes without scoring a basket at the end of the game, the Wisconsin Badgers were able to defeat the Michigan Wolverines 64-59 in Madison.

The Badgers built up a double-digit lead in the second half only to see the Wolverines comeback and make Wisconsin beat them at the free throw line.

Conner Essegian hit six of 12 shots and nine for ten from the line to pace the Badgers with 23 points.  Steven Crowl and Max Klesmit added 11 points and 10 points, respectively.

Wisconsin will now continue at home on Saturday as they take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights at 11 a.m. from the Kohl Center.
