A 25-0 second quarter was all the Green Bay Phoenix women's basketball team needed to beat Robert Morris 61-37 on Friday night.
The Phoenix were outscored by one in the other three quarters combined after entering the decisive second frame down 9-7. Sydney Levy led the Phoenix with 16 points. Jasmine Kondrakiewicz scored 10 points, while Bailey Butler chipped in with eight points. The Phoenix will look to avenge an earlier season loss to Youngstown State when they play at the Beeghly Center at noon.

The Phoenix men saw another close game at halftime turn into a double-digit loss Thursday night, falling to Robert Morris 71-56. Clarence Cummings III overcame a slow start to lead the Phoenix with 12 points, all of which came after the break. They are trying to prevent the Penguins from earning a Horizon League regular season title. The two teams face each other at 1 p.m. Saturday.
