The Green Bay Packers' defense and tight ends room will look much different barring any future deals.
According to Zach Kruse of the USA Today, the Packers voided the contracts of S Adrian Amos, DL Dean Lowry, DL Jarran Reed, WR Randall Cobb, TE Marcedes Lewis, K Mason Crosby, and TE Robert Tonyan. The players represent $16 million in dead cap space for next year if they do not resign to new deals. The dead cap space is because of the Packers' financial maneuvering over the last few years to push out contracts to fit others under their current cap.
There is always a chance they could come back like last year's void deadline casualties of De’Vondre Campbell and Robert Tonyan, who were both resigned shortly after the deadline passed.
