Badgers fall in OT to Michigan

The Wisconsin Badgers had a defeat snatched from the jaws of victory on Sunday as they fell to Michigan.

The Badgers got fans excited in the second half as they came back from 10 points down to take a small lead with just a few seconds left in regulation before the Wolverines' Hunter Dickinson hit a shocking three-pointer to send the game into overtime. That shot was all the momentum that the Wolverines needed as they outscored the Badgers 19-11 in the extra stanza.

Connor Essegian led a quartet of Badgers in double figures with 24 points while Kobe Bufkin led the Wolverines with 28 points as two of his teammates also registered at least 20 points.

The loss further complicates the Badgers' tournament hopes as their record slips to 16-12 on the season and in the bottom third of the Big Ten.
