Area bowlers will get their time to shine on the big stage this weekend when Dale’s Weston Lanes hosts the Wisconsin State Bowling Championships.
Leading the way is Southern Door, which won the conference at their meet and beat Sturgeon Bay in sectionals to earn their spot in the state tournament. They are led by state qualifier Dylan Taylor, who recently signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his bowling career with UW Platteville. Kewaunee also qualified as a team. Joining the full teams is Algoma's Austin Haegele.
