Bucks face Nets looking for NBA leading 48th win

The Milwaukee Bucks have won in many different ways this season, and they may have to do it again against the Brooklyn Nets depending on the availability of a few key players.

No Giannis Antetokoumpo and Jrue Holiday did not matter for Milwaukee, knocking off the Orlando Magic 134-123 at Amway Center. The bench for the Bucks proved to be too much, as deadline acquisition Jae Crowder and guard Jevon Carter were the difference for the Bucks scoring 24 and 15 points respectively. Khris Middleton started his first game since coming back from injury for the second time this season, as he had a season-high 24.

Milwaukee has played well against the Nets so far this season, posting a 2-1 record, and 1-0 since the trade deadline that saw stars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant being traded out of Brooklyn, bringing in an influx of young talent. In the two teams’ last matchup, Giannis Antetokoumpo and Khris Middleton did most of the scoring for Milwaukee, with Antetokoumpo leading the way with 33.

Brooklyn is coming off of a three game winning streak and will look to stretch it to four when they take on the Bucks. Mikal Bridges has been the brightest spot during the stretch run for the Nets. In the win over the Rockets, Bridges led the Nets with 30 points, and even had 38 in a 22 point comeback against the Celtics. Brooklyn will not be an easy matchup for the Bucks, who will look to win their 19th game in the past 20.

Tipoff from Fiserv Forum is scheduled for 7:00 P.M.
