Expect to see more Aaron Rodgers on clearance racks in the coming days.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the New York Jets and the Green Bay Packers have agreed to a compensation package that would send Aaron Rodgers to the Big Apple. No other details have been released, but a combination of picks and money may exchange hands to make the deal work. According to New York Jets aggregators, the only thing needed now is Rodgers' approval. Neither team has made an official statement about the matter.
Earlier in the week, several media members reported that members of the New York Jets flew to California to recruit Rodgers after the Packers granted their quarterback permission to talk to the AFC organization.
Rodgers has been coy about his future plans since he walked off the field in January after ending the season, and potentially his career with the Packers, with an interception.
