Wisconsin's last Division 1 men's team standing still has a championship to win after Marquette beat UConn Friday 70-68.
Tyler Kolek and David Joplin each scored 17 points to help clinch the first-ever Big East title game appearance for the Golden Eagles. The game was knotted up at 38-38 after the first half and remained a back-and-forth affair until the few minutes when the Golden Eagles could open up a four-point lead with just minutes remaining. The Huskies' Jordan Hawkins missed a last-second attempt to tie the game up to secure the victory for the Golden Eagles.
They will play for the Big East Championship on Saturday against either Creighton or Xavier. This story will be updated upon that game's conclusion.
